The second card uses the Season of Style designer Washi tape in the book, it comes in a pack of 3 different rolls for £4.50. You get over 4.5m on each roll, so will go along way. I used the bauble punch from last years book as I did not have time to order this years one. I measured a piece of White card so I could slide the punch up from the bottom and position it exactly where I wanted it. I attached the Washi tape in lines just up from the bottom and stamped the sentiment in Black ink from the For the Family set the across the bottom, punched the bauble and matted onto Cherry Cobbler card. Using White ink I stamped one of the small stamps from the Ornament Keepsakes set in the middle. Lastly, I attached a line of gems { I realised after taking photo I have lost one, but you get the idea} made a bow with some ribbon and attached to prescored card.
After I had finished these cards I had a pile of punched out Baubles, so I used them to make some little sweetie pouches for my crafty ladies at my crop and craft club. I treated myself to the new envelope punch board and used some Cherry Cobbler card to make the base of the pouch, I then scored, punched and folded the pouch and attached the baubles with foam pads and stamped a sentiment from last years Joyous Celebrations stamp set punched out with the Modern Label punch on White card.
I filled it with a sachet of hot chocolate, chocolate spoon and a peppermint candy cane. It actually did not take me that long to make them all, again breaking it down into stages and this is what they looked like when all done..lol!!
I hope you have a wonderful 2014, I have made a resolution to blog more SU projects. There is a new seasonal book out on the 28th Jan and Sale-a-bration kicks off on the same day....so freebies for all orders over £45.00.
Lovely projects, Jackie. I especially love the first card; the wreath looks fantastic stamped in Crumb Cake (wish I'd thought of that!). Might just have to borrow this idea for next year's cards. xx
