Expanding the Hexagon Hive die

Finally I have some cards to show, been waiting for birthdays to pass before I can post them on here. I am still loving the Hexagon Hive die but I wanted to expand the die to make into 6x6 cards, which are my favorite. So I cut the die on white card and matted onto Crumb Cake and then cut down through the two where my panel of patterned paper was going to go. The matted onto the Real Red card. These two cards are similar, the first one for my Daughter-in-law, so I picked a die cut to fit the size of the wording.

The second card for by friend Kerry uses one of the stamps from the free SAB set You're Lovely. I love the papers, the colours go so well together. Its a 4 1/2" x 6 1/2" pad so great for UK sized cards. I just added some little Black pearls from my stash in the centers.
